Somewhere to start

I have to say - around here lately things have been somber.
Dealing with death is never an easy thing - I lost my Mom when I was 25.. this was my first real loss. and my first foray into grief. I don't think I'm doing a very good job but by honoring my mother, I hope that I'm doing the right thing.
I just try and help her memory keep alive.. talk about her, live like I think she wanted me to, don't get tattoos still because she will murder me... you know! :)

This time, it's a coworker, someone who had a beautiful smile/spirit and persona. Actually all the coworkers I've lost in the last 6 years were all super vibrant and a shock to lose.
I've been talking a lot about how you should show that you appreciate someone when they are still here.. I mean, send me ALL of those flowers you are saving for later , NOW ! Let me live them, instead of... the other option

The First One Ever

I had no idea I had started a blog. I came here to start one and startled by the title, I went with it. Apparently at some point I thought the name was good, so I will stick with it !

I just have this intense desire to share myself with others and.. so with that we are here.
So hello, and lets get into this.

Yesterday was a busy day - I can't believe the amount of stuff I get done in a day. I see the list and I am like there is no way that can all happen today but it does, almost every time. I guess I have low expectations???!!
Oh I have to call my sons friends mom now to see if shes going to pick him up from school. so with that - this is the end - of the first edition of ON MY SLEEVE!
